Hello all!

Spring is here 🌷 Snow is melting, birds are chirping and we... are as hard at work as ever!

Our development process is not linear and we are tackling all fronts simultaneously. We're working on some last details in the game design document, starting to write dialogues, setting up the game scenes, working on the background art and characters all at the same time! It is a little bit hectic but hopefully that can help us get the game done a little bit faster ✨

One of our main goals right now is to have the game somewhat playable from start to finish 🎮. That way we can test the puzzles and overall game design to make sure it's all comprehensive and fun. As you know, the backgrounds in our game are super detailed and beautiful 💖, but it also means that it takes quite some time to fully finish them. So, in order to test parts of the game faster, we set up some scenes in Unity using line art instead. As usual, we convert them to 3D representations, that way characters can already move around and interactive areas can all be placed.

Alongside creating a playable version, we are working on the characters that Mona and Froderick will meet along the way. Most of them are currently being rigged and skinned in preparation for animating 🎬

So that's where we're at 🌟 Every single part of the game is moving forward, content being created every day. A background here, a character there, a dialogue line elsewhere. It all takes time, of course. But hopefully, by doing early testing of the game we can avoid issues further down the line. Thank you all for your patience and your support! It means so much to us 💜
