worms armageddon , w.m.d or revolution for single player ?

i never played any worms game before. iam not much into multiplayer games, iam just going to play single player. which game out of these three is the best for single player ?

i already have worms revolution in my library(gift) but i dont like it's 3d visuals. i will play it if it will give me the best single player experience out of the other 2

armageddon is still probabley best.. that is really really good game if i tell u i played it for like 3 year every day 5-6h xd and there u will meet lot realy really good players

W.M.D is quite fun. W.M.D is just missing the league table scores :( if it matters to you.

World Party is definitely better than Armageddon, imo. Reloaded is good too.
Dunno about Revolution, but if it is anything like the awful mess that is Clan Wars, forget it.

Worms World Party is not better than Armageddon. W:A has gotten many updates over the years and has left WWP in the dust. Reloaded is trash... it feels like playing a crappy flash game. Revolution and Clan Wars actually have smart gameplay but some people don't like the 2.5D nature of those games. I didn't at first but they eventually grew on me and tbh I think that Clan Wars is excellent overall, in fact it is my second favorite in the series behind W:A and above WMD.

If you don't like the 3D games in the series (if you do I think Worms Ultimate Mayhem and Worms Forts have the most fun campaigns), then I'd say Worms Armageddon and Worms World Party have the best campaign modes. W.M.D's campaign is not bad but it's far from the creativity of those games. Worms Revolution and Worms Clan Wars, although you don't like their aesthetics, have fully narrated campaigns featuring voice actors from the IT Crowd. Worms Ultimate Mayhem is also fully narrated.

As for skirmishing against the AI in custom matches, I'd say W.M.D is probably the weakest entry in the series. The AI takes absolute ages to think before doing anything, it gets super boring after a while. In Worms Reloaded and Worms Battle Islands the AI acts instantly and it makes for much more entertaining and quicker matches.
