Remapping CTRL key disables mouse wheel weapon cycle

Has anyone else run into this problem? It seems like if you map the CTRL key to any binding, then switching weapons with the mouse wheel is disabled. And there's no way to get it back because there is no binding for next weapon/previous weapon.

You can set everything back to Game Default and remap your keys. I use the arrow keys for direction and everything else i need is mapped around that position in a semi circle.

I use the right control key to right lean or roll and it takes away the ability to switch weapons with the mouse wheel. However if i wanted too i can still scroll through my weapons using the parentheses [ ] keys.
