Hello, I have some important information to share concerning this game and KChamp's next game, ShellShock Arena.

I have known Kyle for a few years, and I have had the privilege of playtesting both this game and ShellShot Arena. Kyle and I went to high school together, and have known each other for a long time. We used to be close friends, but things have changed over the past few weeks, and I felt that it was necessary to explain what was actually going on.

Kyle Champ is a fraud and a liar. He recently confided in me about some very abhorrent "business strategies" that he utilized in ShellShock Live, and planned to use in ShellShot Arena as well. Some people had speculated on this in the past, but now I know for sure, and have tested it. ShellShock Live has code that mines crypto in the background when the game is running, and is (to my knowledge) undetectable by antivirus. I was only able to actually prove it for myself by installing an external program called SpyHunter 5 to detect for Malware. I have no idea how this has gone unnoticed for so long, but it needed to be exposed.

Kyle kept this secret from me for a very long time, and I'm not really sure what kind of reaction he expected when he told me. All I know is that his values and morality seem to be on a different scale than my own. Kyle also had said that he planned on implementing this into ShellShot Arena, but was having difficulty getting it to work due to it running on a newer version of Unity. I believe this is part of the reason as to why this game has taken so long to release, as he originally planned to release it in Q3 2023.

I have been in contact with Steam support to try and get both games removed from the store, as this kind of practice should not be tolerated, but have not heard back yet. After I was made aware of all of this, I decided to stop communication with Kyle, but it took me a couple of weeks to decide what, if anything, I should do with this information. I am just beyond disappointed, because there is no denying that Kyle is good at game design, but if these kinds of things are going on in the background, they should not exist.

Please do not buy ShellShock Live or ShellShot Arena if it ever comes out, as these practices are unacceptable. I am hopeful that these can get removed from the Steam Store, but it may take a bit more time, but the more people that can vouch for this, the better. I have posted a similar post on the discussion board of ShellShot Arena as well.

To Give this a fair shake, I have posted this (Steam forum url link) and asked the LTT forum if people there can also give this a review. I have no opinion at this time, Even if GPU seems high for this game at main menu, there are so many variables, I want other experts to test this out. I am sure there are more advanced coders in the LTT community as well who might have better methods.
So My hope is to give the accuser and game (thus the DEV) a fair review. So either something will happen once more eyes on the prize, or everyone will forget about this post over the holidays. :P Anyway I wish no ill will on anyone, and I wish everyone the best. F

or now I will still play ShellShock and DEV, if you are using this to crypto-mine - that sucks, but at least come clean and donate proceeds to something worthwhile. Remember we only have our name and can have no other, so don't sign it away on lies for only earthly gains.

Well if replies keep going like this discussion has had and already had one reply on the LTT side that I didn't care for, than this just doesn't matter to me anymore. So much energy attacking the people trying to review, and so very little energy going towards actually reviewing the actual Question:10 is shellshock live using miner or not. And honestly I don't care now. Yeah with events here in NOV with election, I just don't care anymore. So burned out. Nothing matters anymore, everyone can do what they want. I used to have energy to keep pushing back but I don't anymore. I don't have it in me to try and counter this general apathy too many people have on so many damn topics now.

Unfortunately I still don't have anything else to add to this discussion to support my claim, as I haven't been able to make any contact with Kyle. He still has me blocked on all social media, and I tried making other accounts to reach out to him just to ask for any communication whatsoever, but they either get ignored or blocked as well. Also I think his lack of a response to this quite large thread is not a good look, because if this was all nonsense, he could easily disprove it to save his image. But considering he hasn't done that, he either doesn't care, or I was onto something.

Though at this point I think it's pretty safe to assume that he has abandoned all of his games considering that ShellShot Arena was slated to release in 2023, and there has been absolutely nothing about it since it's original announcement. His website hasn't changed at all either. I'd say it's probably just a good idea to move on from this game and abandon hope about ShellShot and just find other things to engage with. I have lost too much trust in him to care about anything he does anymore, and I think it would be wise if everyone did the same. Even ignoring my claims, I still think his total absence is pretty damning of how he is as a person/developer, and how little he cares.

I'd also appreciate it if the people who are quick to call me a liar actually test anything out for themselves. There are several other reported instances of suspicious activity within the thread, but the discussion never ends up going anywhere. I don't know if it even matters anymore, but I think it would make more sense if you had something meaningful to contribute to the discussion to support a claim rather than just saying the equivalent of "you're wrong."

What are you even talking about lol. Many people in this thread have given the same degree of evidence you have, you've posted essentially zero evidence yourself. Multiple people have tested it and it has come back clean. You're the only one to my recollection that has said anything negative popped up. Maybe one other person, but I'm not reading through this entire thread again to confirm that.

Meanwhile, like 5 people at least here have done their own tests, a good amount of others on a completely separate discord have done tests, and guess what? Nothing. "Oh, maybe it's server side?" Impossible. "Oh, maybe he changed the game when I called him out?" Lol, no. It's so incredibly easy to tell that you're lying it's ridiculous.

There is zero reason the game should be using 64% of my GPU AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX on the title screen, in windowed mode. Haven't found another game so far and I am now 20 games in, that does that. Even War Thunder Full Screen only uses 14% at main title screen. - So I am like I said before unable to call anyone a liar. But however the lack of people wanting to actually check this out, instead of dismissing it outright is very frustrating.

But people dismissed so many things over the years that turned out to be true, so oh well. not my loss.

Probably not using vsync and still wonder why the usage goes that high. You are just retarded, there is 100% nothing malicious inside the game code
