Gunbound?
Is ShellShock just a clone of gunbound? Or is there something else to it.

I'd never heard of Gunbound, but it's a similar kind of game. But Shellshock is a lot more like Scorched Earth than any other of the games in this genre.

Gunbound is a really fun game that came out in 2003 and is still populated with people.

It does look pretty fun, but Shellshock has everything I need in a tank game. I played Scorched Earth growing up, so this takes me right back.

I was planning on getting it, but I've read about how it's hard to find people when you're low level to fight. Can you tell me the pros and cons about the game?

this is not anywhere near a "clone of gunbound"... this isn't a clone of anything, it's a definitive tank/artillery game. way better than gunbound/worms

It's obviously inspired by one of them.

neither, it's inspired by pocket tanks/scorched earth most likely.

That series didn't have leveling up.

they don't need leveling up to inspire the game.

Pros

You level faster in early levels

Cons

You need to wish face your level or play against the big boys.

Plain and simple.

More to come

I loved Gunbound. I can't seem to find a version that I can play though.

I mained bigfoot.

As for Shellshock. Love this game, played it in the browser version and bought it IMMEDIATELY once I saw it on steam.
