The "Fiesta Forever" mission is way too hard.
This mission pits you against a 1v3, 500hp vs 200hps, with nothing but Pinatas. As if being gimped by a garbage weapon isn't bad enough, the enemies are all level 80 meaning they don't miss that often or hit their allies. Not convinced? Add to that the AI is using hard-hitting AoE weapons like Nukes, Carpet bombs, Magnet rain, etc.

My suggestion is either buff the Pinata (it's worthless even in multiplayer) or make this mission easier by removing an opponent or reducing their hp. I get that it's one of the last missions, but come on. I've spent 5 hours, probably double the time of all the Showdown missions combined, basically rolling the dice repeatedly trying to win this mission because even if you get perfect Pinata RNG you will still lose when the AI decides to throw 100 dmg shots like Nukes and Solar flares at you and kill you in less than 10 turns. You're forced to rely on the AI hitting eachother to do most of the damage, which is uncommon because of the high level AI.

This is the only mission I've been stuck on for more than 30 minutes, most of the other missions are either cakewalks or frustrating "thread the needle" puzzles. There is no real difficulty curve, only "more accurate AI and more RNG to deal with" and the horrific difficulty cliff that is Fiesta Forever.

And please don't say the solution is to grind on a garbage weapon in Multiplayer for an entire day just to unlock Fiesta, because that weapon isn't much better.

I'm now at the final level and so far I must say the pinata is the worst level so far.
It's too much RNG no skill involved whatsovever.

I was lucky enough that the 2 AI's on the left kill the AI on the right for me then one of the two AI's shot a nuke on a bouncer, bounce back and hit both left AI's. Without this crazy luck I wouldn't have beaten it.

I'm also suck at that mission. I did 50 trys, the closest was 1 tank at 100 hp, but lost to the worst blockade rng ever. This mission really kills the singleplayer part.

My friend and I beat it recently after only a few tries with this strat:
Go right at the start and get yourself on the steep slope and shoot at Lucky and Dusty only. Lucky and Dusty have trouble most of the time hitting you there and will kill Ned accidently pretty quickly.

tldr, but i agree the fiesta is so bad, the only mission i cant finish.

It is ludicrous hard. Pinata weapon is too weak and random. Even if you do your best shots, then the random damage ruins it everything and it would take a lot of turns to kill them, but just a few to kill you.

if you think piñata level is hard check final boss mission :steamfacepalm:

PLZ FIX THAT ♥♥♥♥. This mission mathematicaly impossible.
Intra Feb 21, 2016 @ 11:08pm
Final boss mission is only hard in that the boss can get OP ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ weapons while you get dirt

Pinata requires literally the enemy to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kill themselves to win

Single player: where sometimes your aim is tested, but more often it's about how willing you are to reset over and over again.

Two sniper shots mission (sub-sniper + sniper), get it in one try. Baby Seagull mission, have 5 shots left. Then you get to the KEK Mega Nuke / Firework level 4 / ZA WARLDO ♥♥♥♥ where you're taking 150+ damage per enemy shot and it's just laughable.

Not to mention for some reason you can't increase your health with levels in Single Player missions but you can increase your treads and critical chance..? The ♥♥♥♥?

There were only one mission that felt difficult because of skillshots alone:

Finding Curves

Most of the others you could record angles on a notepad and just redo the mission until you got all the shots.

Finding Curves I had the use visual cues for the first two shots but the third required guesstimation. Most tried skill-based mission.

Another that needs a change is the mission "hot hot hot" we get a weapon that hits 30's they get a weapon that hits 150's how is that fair. Only real way to beat it is to hug the enemys and shoot them point blank range which only someone with maxed treads could do.

You can easily deal way more damage. Head into the Firing Range and notice how the Flame pattern changes.

I used a strategy where i try and kill off Ned first but i go onto the slope to avoid fire from the other 2 enemies, then once killing Ned i make my way over to Lucky and sit right next to his tank, this causes both tanks to be forced to deal damage to eachother. I was doing this and lost only due to getting the last guy (ironically enough was Lucky) down to 1 health and he rammed me with a train. FeelsBadMan

Cleared that mission a few days ago. Lucky had a bumper ring right over his head and he got the bright idea to fire a bouncing shot in my general direction. It didn't work out too well for him because the bumper ring kept that shot in the hole with him until it exploded. Dealt 200 damage, one-shotting himself. That all happened on their Turn 1 after I dropped the first Pinata on Ned's head. Managed to finish off Dusty and Ned in 9 more turns by making them hit each other and praying to the RNG gods for a good Pinata cluster every turn.

The 4v4 Chaos map is pure luck and RNG, but at least you have your full arsenal to work with on that map. This challenge you're hoping for friendly fire way more than getting off a good attack, which is kinda the opposite of what you'd want to do in one of these challenges.
