Private rooms?

Why is there not an option to make a private/passworded room?

Actually sounds like a good idea to have rooms password protected like they were before, sorta... In the browser versions of this game, you could make rooms private with the need of a randomized code to give to your friends who you wanted to invite, but a custom password protection is way better.

I normally prefer to play with people I know or trust. Having a room you can actually control to keep out grief and hate. Right now anyone can com into a room and start spewing hate or grief and take away from the game. Trash talk is always part of the game but what I have been seeing in the lobby chats and in game chats...far from acceptable.

IKR, kids play this, and people with racism or dirty words on tiltes? More like some people turn this game from E+ to Rated M

Short Answer: There is, but it doesn't work I believe.

Longer Answer: If you want to invite your steam friends there is an option to set the room to "Friends only" and you can invite your friends over if you have them added on steam. The only thing is that we tried this option out a long time ago, but it still seems to still let people in and I'm not sure if the dev has fixed it yet. He might want to add that on his list.

Like airhorn said...its broken. People can still enter the room even if set to friends only. I would prefer to be able to password my rooms.

I also would like this. There are alot of awful people that play this game unfortunately. Also I wish you could gain xp from skirmish mode so that way people who don't want to deal with ignorance, trash and cheating online could still level up and progress.
