Ruler: Isn't Cheating

I use ruler and when I say or someone realizes themselves against me and call me a cheater or "hacker".
If this is cheating, tell me how to solve something that is not on the PC and with infinite resources to make one for myself. (Pen + Paper = GG ¬¬')
There are several games on the internet in the same style as ShellShock Live, as DDTank, Browser game, it has rules for certain angles within the game (Find out for yourself, there are 3 so far and only own one in my knowledge). Inevitable for these games should be contributing to teach players how to aim and shoot.

Hereby I make a suggestion to be bringing specific missions, unlike the common missions in single player ... Where teaches step by step, the pre-basic weapons available, the "mathematics" of the angles, movement and wind ...Between others. These missions can be an "Introduction" for the chapter and put into pratice.
Plus: Add challenges to these mission chapters and the "Tournament Matches" found in Multiplayer.

To finish, tell me how you guys think about using ruler in this game and others similar...There's a idea better than mine?

I would say using a ruler isn't cheating its a game that you can simple math to solve for angles and power. and wind you people say is the ultimate decider in beating "cheaters" just don't know that wind can be factored in as well its just another number. If you don't believe me here is what I do to never miss. admittedly I used a ruler to aim but with in a week it wasn't hard to find a pattern. the outer edge of the wheel for power can be used as a guide. for every distance equal to that is 4 degrees from 90 and wind is 1 degree for approximately every 12 wind in the opposite direction to counteract (assuming that you are at full power). its similar to using distance and drop to your advantage in a shooter. Also the people who equate shell shock to csgo go play csgo instead then. Shell shock not supposed to be vastly competitive its supposed to be more laid back and fun.

Use 3rd party tool to give yourself an advantage = cheating.

Try to justify it all you want, but the fact is that you should not be able to have any sort of 3rd party advantage in any game. Atmospheric nudge was implemented specifically to deter the use of a ruler, even Kchamp himself said this.

Saying that it's not cheating because "it's mathematics" or "it isn't an aimbot script" are pathetic excuses. Rulers don't even use mathematics (numbers don't always mean mathematics) and saying that a ruler isn't cheating because "it's not hacking" is like saying punching the opposition in the face during a video game tournament isn't cheating because "it's not hacks".

The people in this forum who promote cheating are partially what's wrong with the gaming community as a whole.

Single player is the only time cheating is acceptable.

I learned how to play with practice and using my eye to aim. I didn't shortcut by studying the numbers and looking up guides. It's true that I may lose sometimes to people I should normally beat or miss an easy shot. But at least I don't rely on the numbers under the tank.

Except that gta v has a reason for aim assist, mice are better then controllers for aiming, and nobody should buy a controller to be on even ground.

Yet for shellshock there is no reason to use a ruler other then being too lazy and retarded to do the main point of the game.

i say let the rulers be used, i've beaten players using ruler by using the wind, watched the guy stuggle and cause they can't win, they leave the match. lol

they beat me back, so what its only a game of fun, just learn how to deal with it. :)

I play with no wind because i dont wanna do the math with wind, this kinda ruins that plan.

its a lot more fun to play this game with eyeball-aiming or/and with empirical values, instead holding like a dumb a stupid piece of paper on the monitor...

Yeah, it works unless they have at least 2 working brain cells. In which case they'll just use a calculator to figure out the correct angle.

It failed miserably, of course, but the point stands. If he was okay with it, he wouldn't have tried to 'discourage' it.

And it's not bannable because it's impossible for kChamp to detect a physical object in the player's room.

And yes, the discussion is pointless. Barely anyone uses rulers anymore (well, at least not in the lvl 70+ range, anyway).

thanks, never used or cared for rulers, so didn't really know if it was against the rules or not.
