Weird thing happened

Alright so I don't know if this is possible or not, but can someone just randomly kick you out of a match? I know that the host can do so in the lobby but I'm asking during an actual match.

Basically it was a 4v4 and I had 1 teammate left and the other team had 2, and they were just about dead, and I said out loud "Ive got so and so" because I had a roller and it was a gimme shot. Then his teammate said "this guy has a ruler, watch this", and a second later I was disconnected from the game. I'm decent at the game, Im just playing for fun and Ive never used a ruler. Is it possible this guy did something or was it just a weird coincidence? Thanks guys

It was probably the server problem and it was a coincidence

You were disconnected from the server. It was either a momentary disconnect by your ISP or just latency triggering a disconnect. At this time no one can boot someone from a game in play.
