160hz Would be 160 FPS.
similarly, 60FPS is 60hz.
I'd check task manager, and lower it's priority, see if that lowers FPS
many games limit you to 60fps when 120+ is a must???

Because want set limit 60fps for Shellshock only because 180 fps make no sense that game so Heat GPU and high power consumption.
but i hate change refresh rate all time. lol
CS:GO has command can set "fps_limit" set 180 to 60 in-game is 60 fps and in Monitor set is 180hz. Like that..

But I still dont understand how can you tolerate 60hz by owning a 180hz monitor, isnt there a lot of explosions in the game? I would run it at least at 90fps if wanting to save power consumption
and if you dont have gsync you will get stuttering by limiting your fps, the best solution would be changing your refresh rate like you did
