160hz Would be 160 FPS.

similarly, 60FPS is 60hz.

I'd check task manager, and lower it's priority, see if that lowers FPS

Understand but i want set fps limit 60 in-game.

You can't. That's such a rare function in games, let alone a 1 developer indie game.

If you've got a nvidia you can probably use nvidia inspector to set a fps limit.
GT4tube Jun 23, 2017 @ 9:51am
but if you have 180hz monitor you will fps limit 180 with Nvidia V-Sync or G-Sync..... lol

Because want set limit 60fps for Shellshock only because 180 fps make no sense that game so Heat GPU and high power consumption.

Well got just change refresh rate 180hz to 60hz be same fps limit 60fps.

but i hate change refresh rate all time. lol

CS:GO has command can set "fps_limit" set 180 to 60 in-game is 60 fps and in Monitor set is 180hz. Like that..

gg

I didn't say anything about v-sync or g-sync. Nvidia inspector lets you just set a simple fps limit that can be more or less whatever number you want.

lol i can't set number fps in Nvidia control? cant find how?

You can use rivatuner which comes with afterburner it lets you limit fps for each application.

But I still dont understand how can you tolerate 60hz by owning a 180hz monitor, isnt there a lot of explosions in the game? I would run it at least at 90fps if wanting to save power consumption

and if you dont have gsync you will get stuttering by limiting your fps, the best solution would be changing your refresh rate like you did

The option to SET fps. It's not a common in game function. Usually have to use software for that.
