Does Luck Matter?

So I decided to reset my upgrades and pour everything into Luck and Mobility. I'm happy with the Mobility, I can travel a good distance across the map and go up walls a bit to get in strategic positions or close the gap to shank enemies. But when it comes to Luck, I'm just not seeing any of the perks. I've got a lot of upgraded weapons, but never seem to get any despite having every Luck perk that supposedly increases my chance of getting them. I never see my tank grab nearby supply drops with the grappling hook, even when they appear right next to me I have to drive over them to get them. 99% of the time I get the crappiest Tier 1 weapons such as Splitter and Counter 3000 which I NEVER use because they are so bad.

Should I just put everything into armor next time I reset my upgrades? I'm noticing a trend of me getting crushed by guys with maxed out armor because I never get any good weapons. Heck I'd be happy with some good tier 1 weapons like the Sniper, or even the Shank, but never seem to get them. It just looks to me like Luck is useless and needs buffed or fixed, because it isn't giving me upgraded weapons or grabbing supply crates, etc. BTW I'm a really good shot so most of the time if I can just get Sniper or Sub Sniper or Cat I can win. But when all I get is splitter, counter 3000, SHOT (yes it still regularly gives me shot despite having over a dozen weapons I've upgraded) then it's hard to beat someone with maxed armor.

What are your experiences with the Luck tree? Should I give it up for Armor?

Just to add, I think Armor is 100% guaranteed to always be a better choice than Luck because:

Luck gives you a CHANCE of getting better weapons. But most of the time it apparently doesn't even do that.

Armor ALWAYS gives you more armor. So if you put everything into Armor and someone else puts everything into Luck, you're gonna beat them almost every time.

Well if u want to kill people with pyro meganuke master beam etc at the first few turns then go for luck

Personally, I'd say luck is the least iimportant of all stats

i'd work on everything else before luck.
