item/skill for destroy pieces of land

Hello guys i'm new of the game; yesterday i saw a player who throw a barrel that explode to cut pieces of lands (usefull to make a strait or canal)
Is this an item or a skill.
What's his name and where i can obtain it? (loot? bought? quest?)

You get it for free in instances. Other than that you can find the item that lets you do it anywhere dropped by Pirate Captains.

That was probably me :P.

It's a piece of equipment that takes up 1 cargo slot, and allows you to throw these barrels, build lighthouses, and build siege towers.

I got it from some pirate ship wreck in a Heroic instance. You'll find it eventually. No need to worry about other players picking it up, as loot is instanced per player (I really wish more games did this).

tnx rokk, LOL, and yes i saw u two days ago launch that barrel :) ehehehe i'm SYS in game... i sent u some noob question during the match eheheh ....
by the way I found this item looted from a pirate commander (or something like that) in normal game ( i mean normal area, not instance).

Thanks a lot, I remember I had it but didn't remember how did I got It.
I had the item in my ship inventory the whole time.
