Disable auto-pause?
Is it possible (changing an INI file or something) to prevent the game from automatically bringing up the pause menu whenever the window loses focus?

I'm trying to play the game via speech recognition software. The way the software controls the mouse, functionally, involves occasionally pulling up an overlay 'window' over the screen. Unfortunately, this means every time I move the mouse, the game pauses. It doesn't make the game unplayable, but it *does* make it pretty frustrating and tedious.

I would love to know how the game plays with speech recognition software. That is a very interesting way to play.

Simplywise it works in that way:

"Kill, kill, kill!"
"Loot, loot, loot!"
"Chill, chill, chill!"

... and so on ...

Afterall two hours your neighbours call the local police and you get arrested, perhaps.

If you host your world via WWServer.exe and connect via Direct Connect to 127.0.0.1, then it won't pause.

After making this post, I went back and found some other threads discussing the same behavior (but talking about alt-tabbing specifically). They included the 'fix' of making it a multiplayer session, which was good to know, but ultimately not entirely comparable to a single player solution.

The solution you mentioned sounds intriguing, since I'm assuming it is basically creating a local multiplayer session that only you can connect to. I'll check this out and see how it works for me. Still, it would be great to have this as an actual option in the game at some point, rather than needing a weird workaround. For some people that have mentioned it on here before, it's just a matter of convenience. But for others (like me), it's an actual issue of the system not being accessible. Just something to keep in mind :)
