cannot buy ship larger than brigantine

i have some town 6-9, never seen larger than brigantine. do i need higher difficulty setting?

As you progress in-game, blueprints will open bigger ships. Keep doing quests, smuggle runs, collect treasure chests (boxes) floating around in the ocean and dive as much as possible. A good way to earn EP fast is to fight pirates! All this will help you earn more EP points to progress further. New blueprints for bigger ships will start to appear in the 'Ship' area. It doesn't much matter what ship you have as long as you keep upgrading cannons, cannonballs, hulls and crew. Keep an eye open for better upgrades in the 'Items' area. (Gallions...my fav, have 5 cargo hold if you like the trade business). Hope this helps you out. Happy Sailing!

You will need a max size town-a 10,for the high tier ships,also you need lvl 50 up instances for the Galleon,100 up for the Dragonfly And Flying Fortress [for example].....I do recommend you hop online to the official server-Tasharen.It`s a friendly group that will help you get those big ship Blueprints!then all you need do is save [quite a lot] to buy them!

ok thank you. i have not yet tried online. i did finally get a few blueprints after asking though.
also my single player game town size seems to have maxed out at 9?

with towns,when you are "making" them......to space the towers away a bit,not too close,as it can hinder town growth......you should get at least one "possible 10" at least per map.When you build a settlement it will tell you it`s maximum potential-e.g 2/10

thanks. now is there a way to destroy towers/lighthouses, theyr mine but now i see i need em gone

yes,the explosive charge destroys towers and lighthouses

hello @lucylynn i have a question: when i play an instance battle map i used the explosive charge. then in normal map i dont have this? where can i get it?

you should have it all the time,however,it may be greyed out -not usable?

Killing a certain type of ship has a chance to yield that kind of blueprint.

An item called "Construction Supplies", dropped by pirates in higher level areas, gives it to you.

yes,a Captain`s Toolbox containing the following-Grappling Hook,Spyglass,Construction Supplys,Diving Suit,Telescope,Heavy Anchor and Fog Light [quit rare]....will help you with most things,from looting wrecks to building lighthouses.
