Do people still play this game multiplayer?

I have this game through steam but not sure if it is up to date to make sure I am able to play on all available servers? and also not sure on how to use the lobby patch to jump straight into an online game? any help would be appreciated.

Just download it here: http://novaworld.cc , run it, install in DFLW Directory, Start game -> Go to multiplayer. the usual (broken) login page should now be replaced by the lobby. click a server & Go ;)

Thank you, I have finally got it all working and I am able to join servers. Just need to get some people together to play some time.

Got the lobby patch installed. Game just hangs at the joining server screen. any tips?

Yeah i remember that time. i was 16. I was also in a clan, I was the youngest of all, cool time back then there was a 22mb update, took 2 1/2 hours, needed 2 attempts because someone picked up the phone... good old 56kbps

how do i get my CD-Key of this game on steam ?

In Steam, right click on the game icon, go to Manage, go to CD Keys

This game freezes up when I try to play multiplayer online. As soon as I click servers game to get in it freezes. Any fixes or help would be greatly appreciated.

This is great game especially if you play multiplayer online. :) I used to play 15 years ago lol

Unfortunately, you need to download a file to play online. I don't recall what it's called or where to find it since it's been years since I played. Should check the forum though since I know there are more people who had trouble playing multiplayer.
