I don't remember the setup procedure so if you could be specific about what's happening and what you're doing that would help us.

Do you get an error message?

Try running vcredist_x86-100-sp1 and vcredist_x86-90 directly from the folder

C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Total War Attila\redist

Make sure you disable antivirus programs and scanners before installing.

When installing vcredist_x6-90. error 997.Overlapped I/O operation n progerss.
When installing vcredist_x860-100-sp1 it finishes installing but a window pops up after with microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable setup has failed.

Could be a corrupt registry. It's difficult to say. But with these kinds of problems I would consider re-installing Windows if I was you. Start from a clean slate, run windows update, install and update all the necessary drivers for your system including graphic drivers.

i would try looking for other versions of visual c++ on your computer and uninstall them (they can sometimes stop other versions from installing)
also try running steam as admin and when actually installing hit yes for permission

ill look for other versions. ive already run steam as adminbut it still does the same thing
