AGENTS NEED TO BE REMOVED! PERMANENTLY!
So I send a huge horde trying to get to this city. The enemy king sitting on his throne says "dont worry, I will send this 1 guy, who will lead them in circles till they all strave to death." And that is what happened.....Thousands of men never got to their city.....In fact, they could not move for 7 turns, until I got pissed off and DISBANDED the entire army because they were just costing me money and could not ♥♥♥♥ing MOVE!!!!!!!!! what I am trying to say, in what ♥♥♥♥ing historical book, did they get the idea that this tactic would WORK???????

Get an agent of your own to kill their agent and stop hampering your army.

dude, the campagin just started, I dont have the tech, and AI is spawning an army of agents.....every one of my armies has an agent humping them.....

If your campaign "just started" how exactly are you supporting so many armies that the AI is spawning an "army of agents" to have one hampering each of your armies? If you've got the infrastructure to support that many armies, you should be able to get agents.

Is there a mod to remove ALL agents from the game? Obviously its broken.....if that is how the life worked, we would have no need for the military, just send 1 guy to ISIS and he would lead them in circles till they all starved to death....

Agents are obviously too powerful as it stands in the game right now. Don't remove them, just nerf them a little. :)

ERE harrassed me with agents all the time as the Alans. Somehow every agent I have ever come across has been 5 star.
Sturm Brightblade Mar 27, 2015 @ 2:16am
Normally I would argue that AI agents need to be nerfed, at least to stop the overall hordes of agents that are spammed your way. However, after several forays into Attila's campaign, I have come to the conclusion that I despise agents. CA: Please nerf the AI agents, Modders: Please create an optional mod that I might use to remove the agents completely. Thanks!

yeh personally i would prefer them removed, its too time consuming "trying" to kill off theyr agents when next turn they will have that agent back. And not only that you cant afford to build endless agents(unless your sassanids) so its you losing/killing agents against the AI which has no economic limitations. So no matter what your going to lose if you chose to kill theyr agents, you cant afford it they can = battle of attrition.

atm all 12 of my generals are surrounded by 4-5, 10 star agents each.

..... This is absolute madness. I'd been annoyed by agents before as the Franks, but they were only very rare. I'm really dreading my advance south now...

No no and ♥♥♥♥ no, stop whining. You encountered a bug and now you want agent removal? Scrub

Agents in both atilla and rome 2 are pretty f**cking powerful. I felt the impact of them in rome 2 more so, I think because I wasn't used to them.

Have their abilities been capped since rome 2? I'm not sure...if so they still need to be capped further. It does seem abit silly that one 'champion' can cause a entire horde to remain dying in the alps for 3 years, or repeatedly wreck every building in your city.

THE SASSANIDS HOLY F*CK. They really kill when you fight against the sassanids. Because the sassans have so many protectorates, you're not just fighting 3 champions, you're fighting against 3 champions per nation, which can somtimes be about 12/15. When you're their only enemy too, you're limited to say 3 champs, and it's neigh-impossible to counter this with subertuge. As the ERE I've often had armies and cities thoroughly destroyed by a combination of agent assualts and attacks of their 5 stacks.

If you're playing on medium+ difficulty, it means you can't just steamroller the world with a stack of hastati circa Rome 1. You really need to keep an eye diplomacy, make sure you have safe borders and good allies. Then concentrate your forces on an enemy, making sure an invasion is supported by subteruge, as well as military prowess, too.
