Blood and gore

cut out, will probably come in next month or so, or maybe we can get lucky and they give it free to those who bought it previously for rome 2

Probably cut so they can charge for it with a canned reason of 'this allows us to sell in other regions which don't allow blood & gore.'

Giving it away vs selling it wouldn't change this....

I dont have the game yet so I can't chime in, but from the videos and what people are saying, doesn't look like this is in, even if you purchased the blood and gore pack for Rome2. Very disappointing in my opinion. I bought all of the DLC for Shogun 2, including the 'stand alone' FoTS and that has the blood and gore pack from the Shogun2.

It's the same damn engine, same voiceovers, same game with added features. Can't believe they cut the blood and gore out to be added as DLC when the previous entry includes this.

What makes me sad is that clearly most of their DLC is in fact sitting on the shelf and ready to go, it could just be released with the actual game but they prefer to give it bit by bit :/

There is no blood or gore I miss when when they actually had this in there games like in medieval 2 total war but I suppose by not having it in they can release it to more people it usally only cost 3 dollars should be a free dl though.

Why can't they release it on day one ? Plus it's a game about massive and violent battles, without blood and gore it's like a pole dancer with clothes on, it's half the fun taken away

Time and time again none you of seem to be able to understand why they charge for blood and gore. The way the rating system is set up if they were to release blood and gore free it would be considered a patch and the rating would be changed to M. The reason they charge for it is so they can keep the base game rating at T.
