It just fits a girls name.
And then add 'Hun' to it. lmao
I get it's probably a cultural sound.
Hate to burst your bubble, but outside of Turkey (where some people seem to take a weird pride in being related to some murdering and pillaging bloke on a horse) it is assumed that the name is a "nickname" given to him by the Goths (attila being the diminutive of atta, thus "little father").
Nowadays Attila seems to be a popular name in some regions (Hungary, for example, comes to mind, most guys I met who were called Attila were from there and it might be popular in Turkey as well).
However, the first recorded bearer of the name was a Hun (with no definite place of origin ... some people actually claim that he was of Germanic origin of all things possible ...) and the name is assumed to be Goth by quite a few experts on the subject.
The origin of Cengis' name is also disputed, between either a fully Turkish name (well, title, dude was originally called Temujin ... or any other spelling that sounds similar :D) or a mix between Chinese and Turkish.
And feel free to make fun of Obama's name. :D I used to giggle when declaring war on the Obama clan in Shogun II.
I'm sure there are names we westerners have that make eastern folk laugh.
The problem is when one culture puts a friendly elbow jab to someone, then gets blown up for it, then someone's got issues.
If we really didn't like you then we wouldn't say anything. Because we wouldn't care or even realize you exist.
"girls only" in German-speaking countries.
In Romance languages the "ah" sound at the end is often used for the feminine, and in a lot of Greek names and the English versions too.
idiot... i know a guy named Wendi. And if you call him a woman in his face he will kill you. He is a 130 Kg guy that can lift 180 Kg easy...
a name is what you want it to be not what others think
"Hello, my name is Sue, How do you do? Now you gunna die!"
Or do you not know what I was talking about at all. lmao
If that's the case then this post might be older than you.
Oh wait... you used Kg.
Of course you don't know what I was talking about.
