GAME WON'T LAUNCH

I click to the play the game, the loading screen comes up, and then nothing else happens. It will not load the game. I have validaded the files several times and everytime I do it says something about 12 missing files, it downloads them, and the game still won't work. Everytime I validate it it says it was missing 12 files. Retarted Steam and my PC several times and nothing.I also have the "your drivers are out of date" message on the play button, which they are not. Help?

I had the same problem. I uninstalled then re-installed the game and it now works perfectly.

i had the same problem, reinstalling again in hope that it will work

confirming that the game stucks on loading screen and above mentioned solutions won't fix it

I also have an issue with getting the game to load, after pressing Play Game it just sticks to the logo preload then exits after about 5 minutes of trying with no messages though.

I've just closed down Steam, restarted it and its worked fine. I'm using a mac so may be diffeerent for you?
