Unit Size?

Playing the prologue as the Astro-Goths and everything seems to be going OK, if a little slowly and taking a long time to load up a different screen (like going into battle, or after a battle back to the campaign map). However RTW II is the same so I guess I shouldn't grumble,

However, my question is this. I like playing with large formations of troops a couple of hundred strong or more, and my Astro-Goths seem to be frozen at a maximum size of only 56 men. Is this something to do with the prologue settings, limitations of my system, or what? I've gone into options and the 'option' to increase unit size to 'huge' seems to be missing.
I've set the campaign to run on 'optimum performance' (slider all the way to the left) so this could have something to do with the pre-set unit size
Anyone got any ideas or should I wait for a patch or a mod to increase unit size. Or is there some way I can get more RAM on the game?

just started the prologue battle, and my units are 160 Men

did you change unit size from the main menu, or are you trying to do it after you started prologue/campaign?

you cant change unit sizes midgame. Change settings - save - start a new prologue - check.

Been trying to change the unit size since from the main menu before I started prologue, where is the option for 160 Men?
