they are meant to be hard
then make them be hard, have better stat units, but not stupidly give them free stacks that they couldnt possible maintain and have them spread, i had 4 stacks of t2 and t3 units in my territory, and when i spied down, there were 5 full stacks of them on the south area, no other ai in the entire game was able to match that stupidly high ammount of stacks clumped together, and siege defenses where you could stand a chance are incredible hard since they have 2 siege onagers and 3 light onagers per stack
they are desigined to be a challenage whats the point in naming the game total war attila if the huns are a push over
you call it quits and restart with the key fact in mind to kill the huns early by as i said killing attila
yes it seems i git the message but i had done nothing
Managed to bottleneck the huns in the Alps above Aquilla. Fortified with one legion and reinforced with the other. they threw 4 stacks of the standard tier 3 hunnic army make up. at the end of the battle lasting 57 minutes over 10,000 lie dead in the frost.
Its now about 15 turns later and the hordes are still pouring over the alps and because his death results in another climate shift my empire has famine while 6-7 hunnic stacks are in my northern pronvinces raiding while my legions up there can not replenish due to the famine.
Have to send one down to magna graecia every few turns to replenish before bringing it up again.
I am really enjoying the challenge of the game but I was under the impression the Huns would lose momentum once Attila is dead?
It seems as if they have more stacks now than they ever did. Although quality of the troops has dropped abit, I am seeing less of the full stack armys that are made entirely of tier 3 units.
