How do you know what building unlocks what units?
Seriously, why is it almost a secret? Or am I missing something obvious? (I hope so) Right clicking a building in the build menu just reveals some yada-yada.

Most of the units are unlocked by researching technologies

Alot of them arent listed, same goes for buildings in the technology tree's. but you can follow the building/unit trail and take a guess.

all ways to "plan ahead" in this game are broken or just simply not included.

Yeah, I have literally no idea what I am doing when building stuff. I like to have a few army centres and farm/trade in the surrounding areas in TW games, but in Attila I just build random stuff hoping it will unlock stuff. Food and sanitation is fairly obvious after a while, but military is a mystery to me. Suddenly I can recuit archers but I dont know why.

The honga link didnt help, list of units is cool but it doesnt say what I have to do to get them. Technologies is also mostly just a list.

When howering over an upgrade why cant it just say "unlocks *insert unit and/or bonus*"?

recruiting of basic unit types is from the building, upgrading those basic units/getting the special version require the research.

-so you must have built the archery range traning ground thingy.

find the research for the theatre in ERE, it doesnt exist. thats just one example alot of the nations are missing alot of listed research/units. spent 20 mins reading absolutely everything and no hints at all how to research it, even now i dont know how to research it. most of the stuff is incomplete or they dont want to list it for some reason. they might release a DLC to fix it maybe.
