Free demo? Persuade buy?
Hey I was wondering, will there be a demo release for this title? I want to know how it will run on my system before buying it. The other total war games I own, Empire and Shogun 2, had demos which I downloaded before being sure I would be able to run the games well. I don't want to pay for something when I have no idea if it will run well or not.

I'm sold on Attila's time period, factions, and gameplay features, but I must have a demo before making up my mind!

Probably not, (for now?)

It would be easy to tell if you post your specs here, but it's safe to say if you could run Rome 2 on min normal settings you can run Attila.
And if you can run ROME 2 on Ultra, Extreme you can play Attila.

Anyways, if you want to buy Attila check out "g 2 a. com" got it there cheaper (24 bucks with 1. DLC) Steam is overpriced and now with the 2. DLC it's not funny how they make their prices.

Thanks for this site, is it completely legit?

Also, my specs are:

Intel Core i5 i5-4210U dual core processor.
1.7GHz processor speed.
4GB RAM.
1000GB SATA hard drive.
Microsoft Windows 8.

Could I play it?

It is a key re-seller. Not a affiliated seller.

How these keys are gained by the store is most of the time legit. But not always.

Sometimes they are gained illegally (with stolen credit cards as a example) and as a result the games get blocked. (though there is no history of Sega doing that)

Though this happens extremely rarely as most of the time they are bough in a lower pricing zone (one with low income) where the price is lower and then resold.

For whether or not you can run it we need more info.

Your graphic card as a example and IF it is a laptop whether or not your windows 8 is 64 bit.

His computer is a laptop (The obvious Mobile CPU) so he CAN play the game, but with those specs he will have an average framerate of potato. Maybe even more if the GPU is half decent.

GPU is Nvidia gt 540m (laptop)
Processor is intel core i7

Well I haven't got Rome 2 either because it didn't get a demo, but for Shogun 2 I have most all settings at medium, particle effects on high, textures and character/building/unit models set to highest, army and fleet size set to large, and vsync and anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering are either at lowest settings or off. I get a good smooth frame rate at these settings.

So I don't know if based off of what I tell you from Shogun 2 is relevant to Rome 2 or Attila or not, I'd at least want the textures and models of units in Attila to be set as high as possible but I could lower the shadows/particles/stuff like that

Shogun II is less demanding than Rome 2/Attila so if you have most med/high on Shogun II. You can expect low/med with Attila.

Its really, really sad that all the publishers/developers are against classic demos/tryout time.
Even tho distributing them is easier then ever... Steam itself has the "power" to let people play for a short periode of time and decide afterwards if they want to buy the game or not.

It only shows, that they have no faith in the product on it's own and due to refund-policies they can, because if it isn't good, well, we - the customers - can't do next to nothing.

I was about to buy Attila, but i was "shocked" because of day-0 DLC (pre-order bonus, i won't preorder, ever). So , now a second DLC is comming, and as usual many will follow.

BUT i had the chance to play the game on my friends PC and i have to say, i don't like it "this" much... not a bad game, it is getting better. Upon asking my friend if he likes it he answered :
Well, it's not that much fun... its a slight improvement, but maybe Addons will fix it...

That did really blow my mind, and it actually makes sense (in terms of profit for a company with a powerfull francise).

The rest is up to you, think about how the gaming industry is changing and if you like it. :)

Your joking right they would lose loads of sales cause people would realise you need a good pc.

G2A is legit, the Shield extra for 1 bucks give you even a garantie, But that is not the point now.

If you can play shogun on low-mid it's save to say better not try it on Attila except you intent to buy a new laptop or Desktop with more power.

The problem with Attila is less the GPU but more the CPU, and for both it would be better to get a newer one.

I run Rome 2 on extreme easily and atilla runs badly on quality settings, hold off until a few patches are released

Oh I miss read @rawfire specs with @aron ones,

Can you give the exact name of th i7 ? with Ghz maybe ?
Mephiston87 Feb 25, 2015 @ 8:18am
Since i changed the game to run on 3 CPU cores, im running it fine on all quality. GTX 690 still one of the top cards. but everything on quality is exceptional graphics i dont honestly think you would miss much with ultra graphics.

I actually cracked this game before purchase, you dont need a demo when u can just get the full game for free. Crack it first, if you think its worth it buy it like me. Did the same thing with rome 2... but i didnt end up buying it obviously cause it was garbage.
