Any way to change your generals names?

Haven't found a way yet, but I really think the game needs it. Or at lease a MUCH bigger pool of character names that the game can pick from. Having half a dozen characters all with the same name is really confusing! ><

I think you should be able to name your children at birth.. it would give more atachment.

i dislike not beeing able to rename my generals an family too. this and the small pool of repetative names destroys the imersion of any game i start at a certain point. just wonder why they did not add this simple feature like in the older games. regions should have this option too.

is this still not modable? or at least a bigger name pools mod?

I typically have this issue, whereby the names become the same, or appear the same, or I can't easily distinguish who's control is at stake.

My solution to this, is what I used to do with weak family members in Rome, send them in against ridiculous odds, and one of two things will happen, he will perish; or less likely, they survive and turn out with some good traits.

But yes, most of the time they die. This is much easier now, since you can take any Noble Family (the opposition) select him for Naval duty, and just have that ship sink.
