They should add contraceptives to the civil research tree lol, or alternatively if they want to stay historically accurate some civil research that allows us to send the village bicycles to a nunnery or some equivelant somewhere far away from anything with a trouser snake.

Tons of illegitamate children were really common in those times, especially for higher status people. Did they know them all and have them into their families as this game does? No probably not.
For the game tho, it is a little much that one guy has 36 children as one guy said in a thread not long ago.
