Shadow flickering

If the camera moves on the campaign card the shadows are flickering as hell. Especially the forests. Its really annoying. Is it a bug?

Possibly a bug. May I suggest you turn shadows off anyway, you will gain a performance boost if you can play without em.

I dont need help so specs are not relevant. I tested all shadow options. Low is ok, but low equal to off. Only want to know if someone has the problem too. As hell is maybe a little bit too much. It looks not like a bug, it looks more like bad rendering.

This issue is so severe it prevents me from playing the game at all. Rome 2 looks so much sharper it's not even funny.

I am surprsied more people aren't concerned by it. To say it is not a bug, but "bad rendering" . . . I am curious what one would define as a "bug" in the first place. Bad rendering is, IMHO, very undesirable and should fall into the category of bug.

I am shocked at how 'set-in-stone' everything about this title seems to be, as though it was a total conversion mod for Rome 2 written by people who had absolutely no knowledge of or access to the low-level logic.

Shadows on max is a problem for many reasons. First it's the "flickering" that goes on, it really ruins immersion, second it's a MASSIVE FPS drain. I mean I want it on, but it's really not something I will do in the end. Shadows are CPU based (by my observations, running a 980 Ti).
