Game doesn't work on Windows 10.
Good one guys, doesn't show that your engine is super ♥♥♥♥ or anything.

Try running it in compatibility mode?
Satrell Jul 29, 2015 @ 4:14am
the problem is the launcher opening, and then when trying to start the game it seems to open a speratae instance on steam, which then aborts.

Simple luancher error, i expect a hotfix within the day.

YOU MEAN A GAME MADE BEFORE WINDOWS 10 WASN'T MADE FOR IT!? DAMN SON!

.....but yeah. I hate microsoft for this crap. Windows 8 and 10 still feel like they were made for touchscreens!
kmansp Jul 29, 2015 @ 9:13am
anybody figure a workaround for this yet? Compatibility mode doesn't work either...
Tony Jul 29, 2015 @ 9:16am
Not working for me either. :(

How am I going to make it through my day???
I'm installing Windows 10 now.. Hopefully they will come out with a patch soon supporting Windows 10. Not sure if this is the devs fault or windows

I found one post on the total war forums in the support forum by a user with the windows 10 preview on july 10th, describing the exact problem. The user was informed to contact their tech support, and there's no solution provided. :( Bummed.

How can you blame the developer? Same goes for the OP. How can someone make a "patch" for something that they have no access to and isn't out yet? Makes no sense at all. It's obviously a thing with Windows 10, not Attila. As it was mentioned, the problem is of simple nature, so it will probably get fixed soon.

Did you even read my entire comment? I specifically said I'm not sure if it's the developers fault or Windows...

it's devs problem if his software doesn't work in Windows 10. They knew for months and didn't do anything about it

That was my point. How can you even have the slightest doubt in CA when they have nothing whatsoever to do with Windows 10? It was not avalible for purcahse, so they couldn't really "fix" anything that the OS broke in Attila

It doesn't work that way, it's not CA's fault. The game is perfectly fine, it's the OS that's the problem. How can they work on "fixing" their game for Windows 10 when they have no freaking access to Windows 10? Magic?
