Well, if your pc is good enough to run Attila at least, it's pretty good

A relatively weak PC by modern standards can run Attila. You don't really need the new gen GPUs nor a quad-core CPU, stuff from around 2010 will work. Of course, you won't be able to play with settings cranked up to the max, but you'll have reasonable and playable FPS on performance settings.

My specs: AMD Athlon II x2 250 3Ghz and a Radeon HD 6750 1gb GDDR 5 128 bit. The CPU was released in 2009 and the GPU in 2011. I've also got 6GB of RAM. I can play Attila rather nicely. MP battles are always around 35+ FPS, although anything bigger than 2 armies will lower it to about 30 FPS. Cities are also around 30 FPS. I play mostly on "Performance" settings, although i have shadows at "Max Performance", textures at "Quality" and Unit Detail at "Quality". I can't really play anything from 2014 and onwards at all, as most things require a quad core as minimum and my GPU is mostly in the minimum range as well.

Wow... I play at a mix between performance and quality and my system is fairly decent

No idea to be honest. Laptop? Integrated GPU? Cheap CPU? Driver problems? No idea.

Nah, I have an fx8320 with an R9 290 GPU.. It's not the best, but I should get more than 20 FPS during battles..

Well, AMD processors aren't as good as Intel, core for core. That's why AMD makes 6 and 8 core CPUs, they're pretty much the equivalents of all those I5s and I7s from Intel. I guess that the game is not very well optimized for anything above a quad core, so it doesn't utilize every core to its max potential. I assume that it would run very well on an I5 or an I7 as they're very strong quad core CPUs, although they're a bit pricey. AMD caters more to the "normal to high end" market, while Intel is more focused on the "high end and above" market.

Yeah, I will probably get an intel CPU sooner or later, unless directx12 offeres some considerable performance buffs
