can't research new technologies?

The game tells me that I am not researching anytning, but when I open the screen I cannot select anything, while I have a few options available.

Bug?

You should only be able to click the ones that are highlighted/colored. Then you need to click on one of those adn then click on the check mark att he bottom. If you do not click the little check box it will not start to research it.

if what I explained does ont solve your problem then hit F12 in game and make a screenshot and then exit game and upload that screenshot to your steam account and then post the share link here and I'll take a look.

Is it possible that the only options you have left require gold to research and you don't have enough in your treasury?

I did have options to research available, and I did have plenty of gold to research.

But I restarted the campaign and then it was fine...

Hmm thought maybea mod messed something up but if you don't have any then must have just been a glitch, an odd one at that.
