I disagree the statement that this game is the CoD of the strategy games genre. That title belongs to the Command and Conquer series as it is now.
That out of the way, is the AI racist against humans like it was in shogun 2 still?
The AI will like you if you go to war with and kill people they don't like like. Their relations with you will suffer if you make treaties with people they don't like.
Both games provide plenty of info on the factors affecting your relationship with each faction.
