Wonder why they'd change Judea to a 'of the east'. Seems very strange.
The Orient is usually an archaic term for Asia
Still doesn't explain why they changed it months after release.
In other words, Judea (and Judeans) had ceased to exist as an independent cultural and political state. They came back into existence in 1948, but with a different name, as we all know.
Why did CA make this change at this time? I don't know. I am pretty absolutely almost certain, however, that a writer for Attila took a couple of summer classes at an extension of Oxford University, and he learned some new things. He petitioned his boss for two or three months to use Oriens rather than Judeans. Finally, after many fish-and-chip lunches (treats of the writer), the change was made.
???? by going in Orients is not even a people its mean Occident in old French . Estearn Hemipshere..totaly stupid to name a peole the Orient people .Asia is dam vast and there more than Judea people in there.dont rely on total war for people accuracy knowledge
Interesting. Thanks for the information. Makes more sense now!
It seems more like they were going to call them Oriens all along and only used Judea at launch as people might relate to the positioning on the map? - That's pure speculation though.
