the steam one sux
After you click "launch" on mitchs mod manager go to your "library" section on steam and on the left hand side , where your list of games are click on total war attila then up top click the "play" button. The game will now launch just as if you launched form the mod manager , with your mods in the order you had them , this works for rome II and attila for me , hope this helps.
I may not of described the order of doing it well enough but this does work for me , it loads from my mod manager not my game launcher.
and i don't think that this can be done with the current patch
untick your mods in the game launcher and try it again
