that might help, havent tried it but came across this for you
To be honest I am surprized very very few mods address this game-changing element.
The gameplay would be significantly different without strong hun invasion. Many posibilities open up.
But after beating the main campaign three times I'm looking for a different experience.
So it's more like, nothing is wrong with the Huns in vanilla but I'd like to fight against other strong empires in mid-to-late game period (i,.e., 420-450 AD).
The game so far had only 2 great challenges. Fight the 'god-mod' Huns in eastern Europe or fight the Sassanids in middle East. They are like 2 different games.
But I wonder what can happen if the Huns don't trash everyone else around in Europe. It would be great to fight a Germanic confederation or the Celts.
I want more variety from the game, and for that the Huns have to go.
