The Iberian Peninsula
I got the new dlc, I am offended that the Iberian peninsula is called the "spanish" peninsula. Hispania was not the only kingdom in this peninsula, even today, we have portugal still there who do not share a kingdom with spain. if any devs are reading, can you change the name to make it more hisorical and realistic.

Portugal Kingdom borned in 1139.

Castille Kingdom borned in 1065.

Aragon Kingdom borned in 1035.

Navarra Kingdom borned in 1162.

The base year of the game is 768 if i am not wrong, so in that moments those kingdoms did not exist, and Emirate of Cordoba controlled the territories of this kingdoms.

All started when Asturias Kingdom reconquested what today spanish people know as Castilla y León, evolving in the Astur-Leones Kingdom (Reino Astur-Leonés), and then after that, Lion Kingdom (Reino de León).

When Emirate lost north territory because the weather and other reasons, borned the kingdoms I called before, and they with the help of the Papa, kick the Almohads from the Spanish territory. Here in Spain in that years, was declared a little Crusade when Emirates of Cordoba was helped by the Almohads and the Reconquest could be failed.

España (Spain) borned after the reconquest, with the Catolics Kings (Reyes Católicos) who got married and formed one Kingdom, Spain (España) in 1479.

EDIT: Hispania was not a Kingdom, Hispania is how Romans called Spain and Portugal territory for the mineral.

true, but they called it, the "spanish". spain didn't exist yet. I just found it weird that they said spanish. germanic and muslims used to live on this peninsula too, it was never all roman.

true, but they called it, the "spanish". spain didn't exist yet. I just found it weird that they said spanish. germanic and muslims used to live on this peninsula too, it was never all roman.

Romans were who put the name to the entire territory.

The only one error i see here is the "spanish peninsula" should be called "Iberian Peninsula" if you play as Asturias, and Al-Andalus the own territories and Iberian Peninsula if you play as Emirates.

I have not the DLC yet to see if the game called Spanish Peninsula, or Iberian Peninsula.

But i repeat again, there weren´t more Kingdoms in that time (just Califates and Counties), despite of after and during Reconquest Castille, Portugal, Navarra, Aragón Kingdoms borned.
