Attila Campaign Map Lag

Whenever I play Total War Attila I get really bad frames it never used to happen back on Rome 2. Just wondering if there is a possible fix for this horrible lag.

Specs:

CPU: AMD FX-8320 8 core processor
GPU: Nvidia GTX 970
RAM: 8gb ddr3

Hopefull this is enough information about my pc if you need more info let me know.

Doesn't help at all besides opening up 33 pages of other discussions that don't solve the same issue I have.

Campaign map runs fine for several turns, the battle maps run fine even doing a large siege with no framerate drop from about 60FPS on Performance settings.
Finish battle and then the campaign goes to ♥♥♥♥, 7fps maximum, sound juttering... the whole bang and kaboodle.

Game is still hot garbage :/

One really out there kind of solution, I only mention it because the youtube video seemed quite well made... He ran both RTW2 and Attila at the same time, as in the launcher for RTW2 and launching Attila normally after that seperately... and demonstrated that Attila was running a bit smoother. Strange as, but with all the other silliness I have encountered with the game, why not...

Just gonna bump this up to the top in case anyone has any issues that are similar.

Just reinstalled R2TW, tried the aformentioned idea and nope still hot garbage.
But as a comparison I ran R2TW in the Ultra settings and could still kick out a smooth 30-40 fps with the occasional jutter... But I tried Attila in max performance with no such avail.

Yes hopefully somebody will share their knowledge of fixing this horrible lag

Update it even goes so far as to interfere with sound nothing to do with the game like Skype
