Essential...heh, that implies that the game is extremly broken and unplayable without extras that offer basic functionality. And I dont think thats the case

Except maybe the vanilla camera, I need cameramods for that

this is a minimal mod comp to improve ur gameplay without altering the game, works fine

sebidess politics and governors (all respect) it's an easy playthrought (call it cheat)
why should all factions have ocuppy and diplomatics options? that wasnt real
-no siege escalation? what about the war?
remove capital reqs, lower upkeeps ------------------------- cheats???
no AI agents???? only urs?? yerpppppp verrryyyyy fair
Prometheus, skidvars dresden and etcc are great mods,, i made some goood collections that u just need delete all from manager (steam) no need to mess with files, and "Subscribe All"
Dont use radious (prefer choosing mods)
u can call your minimal balance.. r u playing esy at least?
whern u read a description, the mod will point exactaly what the autor of the mode found about ir, and its in immersive gameplay.
Just giving u tips, i been testing some new different modded campaigns and saving them as collections. worth the look at my profile, all collections of awesome modders

Gem is a really nice mod, but its only a visual mod. You can find this mod on the total war center mod page, you can tweak it to your own liking

last time tried to use packs from twcenter with something gone wrong, got virus, my data stolen (all of my personal), got 2 hard disks boots, and 24hrs later the system was back, the strangest thing i ever saw, even contacted the police cause come personal data was beeing taken, shhould it have been a psyc?

long time user here, Twc is fine, but got somt rreal bad,now im testing if just making a colection of your mods, u can edit the order (of the collection) does it affet somthing?

Everyone has different opinions, so essential mods will differ.

I prefer a slightly tweaked vanilla experience, so for me its the following only.

I have downloaded hundreds of mods from the total war center and never gotten a virus.
And the producer of gem is more than trustworthy since he has made a similar mod for rome 2 and quite a lot of people are actually using gem.

gem is really nice, I just dont like the blur which you get by pressing k, but you can easily turn it off.

Im very aware of that, beeen usingg for a looong timee, but internet itself is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, i have a great admiration for seom of the modders there, its a real hard job... but just happened =/ Still can accesss their work here!!!!
