Now that we've established that you have no earthly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clue what you are talking about, maybe stop talking, eh?
Now, back OT:
OP, you didn't provide much relevant information, so you are unlikely to get an exact solution... even before factoring in certain people. That said, mid-battle crashes are typically the result of an issue with something specific to the battle such as a unit, ability, or entity. Pre- and post-battle crashes are normally caused by loading issues and troubleshooting for any of the three is basically the same.
In this case, that means the first step in troubleshooting likely resides in reviewing your mods. If you can reproduce the issue without mods, the first step is either to re-install or to verify the game files. Bear in mind, however, that removing mods which add things such as units in the middle of a campaign will prevent you from loading that campaign.
It should be noted that Attila and Warhammer both have issues that can cause a mid-battle CTD without any mods, though this is usually rare. If this is not the case, then the issue is probably with your installation, though it may be indicative of a hardware fault; the GPU and CPU listed are rather old, so presumably the rest of the system is as old or older. To boot, Attila has major technical issues and is hard on the system running it as a result.
Hardware testing is something I'd recommend as a last resort due to the technical and time-consuming nature of it. However, if you are having consistent crashes under certain conditions, it may be necessary to do so.
These fixes are listed on segas own troubleshooting web page dork. You wasted everyones time with 5 paragraphs of nonsense and not 1 fix for a crash i didnt list????
windows 11 supports back to 8th gen intel.. so he is basically clueless about how windows operates in a home environment from the start of his worthless post.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-22h2-supported-intel-processors
I always recommend just using a defaulted system userspace because no one knows anyone's rig which is why i also recommend resetting your bios to defaults as well. More or less if you cant figure out a simple crash then your probably not the most tech savy to figure out the games basic file structure within windows or dont wanna deal with it i can guarantee you will get better fps in all your games with a vanilla windows 11 install with a fresh userspace and a properly updated driver environment.
crashes happen with total war usually from the autosave function or some other script failure it happens 99.9% less if you follow my steps for sure..
-Disabling/Adjusting these will improve your gameplay the most-
Unlimited memory disable - It uses windows page file
AA - Disabled (older dx9 form of AA MSAA doesn't run good..)
AO - disable
shadows - Low/disabled
troop count - low
grass - low
Honestly, i own a 1050ti you shouldnt use AA and all the other setting should be on low for sure. You could probably get away with a bump on textures and polygons... but its a bad card for advance lighting and AA..
