Retraining Men!!
While replenishing my troops, sometimes they loose nearly all of their Ranks because of the new recruits, indstead of becoming better, my army just becomes weaker. We need a mod to ajust this issue. I hope some of you agree.

Maybe you can merge your depleted experienced units, as you can in most Total War games (e.g. by selecting the units you want to merge, and then clicking CTRL + M).

That still lowers their experience.

In other Total War games it doesn't (I haven't played much Attila yet, so I can't say for sure regarding Attila). It simply means that your number of experienced soldiers depends on how many you keep alive. I aim to keep as many of my soldiers alive as possible, rout my enemy as soon as possible in a battle, and bring enough fast units to catch all routers, so that I capture as many enemies as possible (to get as much experience as possible) after they rout (when they are no danger to my own soldiers).

Sorry, I don't know about any mods regarding this. Bye.

Rome 1 and Medevil2 you could just re-train units. There was no repltishment system. But in attlia the unit card has the same cash vaule so whether 1 or 30 units in that card it cost the same. So in makes repelshment silly. Best to dispand the card and recurt a fresh one or merge units to max out cards. Unit cards are strongest with full cards do to the fact that your next battle you wont suffer a pently for cuasilties from the start. Experiance is silly any ways I usally rely on my Generals skills to get more EXPed units.

To my understanding, if you merge two units together, the experience between them averages out. You could train fresh troops which actually have experience depending on: your technology, general, military traditions, edicts, etc.
You could easily be recruting new units with greater experience!

You want to merge as often as you can to preserve the veterancy experience. Then train new men as needed.

The problem is when i have the best units and you are raiding in some country where you cant get the best units and some units take 2 turns to be recruted. So this takes awhile instead of them just keeping their experience and rank while replenishen.

If you can't recuit those units, then you may want to invest in infastructure that can. All a part of province management.
Units that take 2 turns to recruit, well that is the pitfall of using some elite units. You may want to just preserve them better in battle and use them well you really need to :steamhappy:

It just takes much time to build the building needed for recruting the best units it would be a lot better if the units just preserve their rank and experience and becomme better instead of worse

Seems you just need to learn to mitigate the losses of your own troops. I do a lot of my own modding and I can confidently say that the experience/ranks can not be preserved the way you want them to. You can alter the rate at which units gain experience, or even increase/decrease the experience level thresholds (but this would mean you lose experience quicker as well).
The defualt position of unit experience is zero, and modifiers are added to this.

What I would do is pick a few units that I want to level up, and try to avoid losses for those units until the situtaion demands it aka - the huns. Try just using them to flank or run down units.
