medieval mod
Hi,
I want to play Attila with a medieval setting. I want all the factions getting "converted" to medieval cultures.

I found two mods for this

1212 A.D. Medieval Kingdoms

and

1295 A.D. Medieval Kingdoms

but what is the best mod to use? Personal preference? I'm asking for bugs, content, units, ...

There's 2 good mod to try out if you want medieval era mod.

For multiplayer and custom battle only:
- Use 1212 A.D. Medieval Kingdoms : you just need to download the base pack and the 1-5 pack from workshop

You can't play campaign with this mod, its only for battle

For singleplayer and multiplayer campaign:
- Use 1220 AD mod : just subscribe to all the mods listen in this collection (exception for the 1212 ad included in the collection. Its said that you need em but so far it does run anyway without the 1212ad mod (even if i use the 1212ad mod, it got some missing texture instead)

But for this mod you need all of the Culture pack i believe

Dude is the 1220 AD mod taken down? For some odd reason my save game for 1220 wont start, it crashes the game, also if i try to go to the latest release, the 1.3 which was working like earlier today, its just not there. I select any of the 1220 ad mods and its just not there. Like its taken down by the author. Do you have any idea what happened?

based on people that i talk with, it means the author gonna release new one in a few days. Its been like this everytime, instead of updating the workshop, they just upload the new one and take down the old one.
Okay I see. Thanks for clarifying :D

yes they dont. thats why you need to backup ur 'data' folder.

but if its too late what you can do is backup ur data folder (the one with medieval mod) and then delete it (the original not backup)

after that go to steam library, right click attila and choose check files integrity. it will download a few gigs of file. Once its done the game should work as normal.

This time just dont forget to backup ur original data folder
