A lot of people seems to be really into Medieval Kingdoms 1212 AD right now. I'd check it out. If you're more into the classical era I really recommend Ancient Empires. It basically turns Attila into Rome. Looks licer and way better mechanically though.

Yes with Attila you have all choices and it is much more stuff coming up.

Still WIP but shows great promise. Has a way to go yet but is pretty much our only hope at medieval 3 with all the wokester culture @ CA gone mad.

Overhaul mods-the best are Ancient Empires, Medieval Kingdoms 1212 with submods, 634 Fire and Sword. A lot of of good work.
