As WRE I just garrisoned crossbow stacks, and went pew pew on unsuspecting hunnic masses at my border cities, das my advice.
He will be born in 400 ad and then be leader around 420 ad, after u killed him 3 times , the Huns can be defeated like all the other fractions.
I played the Anteans many times, because they are my favourites....
I fleed to Persia and started there a new big ANtean EMpire and conquered nearely the whole map and i am around 450 and Huns are no more,
but the advice to leave and build the Totem of the Wolves in Britain might be the best strategy to win your campaign, u even can have the necessary settlements for the totewm around Sarai in Scythia, because in the north u have timber and in the south u get the iron.
U simply need wood and iron, then you can build the totem, good luck.
I can feel U, i wanted to complete the ANtean campaign for the same reason XD.... i need sooo long time until i realised that in the east u have the two required settlements and can live most peacefully of the whole map ;)
and better garrisons so where ever you settle got more chance of keeping hold of the lands you control and if huns attack u when u expanded got much better chance defending against them
