Is it worth it to buy this just to play 1212 AD mod?

I watched few YouTube videos on 1212 AD mod and I loved the unit designs. But is the campaign and single player aspect of 1212 AD mod good enough for me to buy Attila and give my money to a scummy publisher like CA?

Yes, get AOC dlc too then grab the AOC expanded mod by seibee or the Age of Vikings mod. Such a good game

That is what frustrates me a bit, they don't have any competition and that's the reason for their complacency. I can just play the older Total War games like Medieval and Napoleon too.
But I will buy this as many have recommended.

attila is worth it yes has been issues with it not being well optimised but there are great mods that can fix certain errors with units etc plenty of mods in other time frames i recommend ancient empires mod as well as medieval kingdoms 1212ad

also a mod called dark ages 634/642 i also recommend u have lots of factions to choose from i have made some unit packs and small mods i done

Enjoy I have other mods on workshop dark age unit pack more up to date than the other one but you are welcome to use the units and stuff from the pack if u make own mods but give credit to modder thunderbolt who made a pack with new shield patterns as I used his mod for my units shields some contain own patterns but not many

Dark age mod has many units in it I have tried to balance the stats out as much as possible but more difficult to do as I have increased the armour and shield values as well as well as the weapons values so units stats much higher than normally are same for vanilla which means original game units

Try this mod maybe play original game time frame first to learn the game then play the mod medieval kingdoms mod later on in his mod should help you learn the game abit
