I guess no.
No. Units are based on what faction you're playing as.
The Roman factions, however, can recruit units from hoards passing through their territory. If some friendly Huns walk through you can get horse archers, etc.
If you have buildings from other factions you get nothing. You don't get access to that factions buildings units or your own.
so no auxilliry system like Rome II, althoguh that what i most enjoyed at that game.
At most you can recruit other factions units as mercenaries.
Much more realistic, IMO.
