what happend to rise of mordor?

i resently downloaded attila total war and also downloaded the mod for rise of mordor, i played a few scermishes then went to bed today i tryed to play and the mod is gone i canot find the rise of mordor alpha phaze by caligula eny where.

CA (or Steam, I'm not sure) wrote to the modders and demanded that they remove it, claiming that it infringed copyright.

The rise of Mordor was apparently premature, and has now stopped rising.

I'm the community manager of RoM and thought I'd explain this.

Recently we received a message from Creative Assembly asking us to take Rise of Mordor (and other various mods) down from Steam Workshop. This is due to the fact that “mods based entirely off of another Intellectual Property are against the Terms of Service”.

Because of that we decided to remove Rise of Mordor from the Steam Workshop but it's still available to download via ModDB!
So if you still want to install it you can go to ModDB and search "Rise of Mordor" or just use the link below!

That sounds very stupid, if you didnt tried to sell your mod but shared it for free, how it violates someones intellectual property? Not to mention that world of LoTR was created more than 70 years ago and his creator is dead for long time, its wrong IMHO.

IP rights dont care if its sold or given for free , the IP rights say you cant use thier IP without thier consent.
