How do i ''join a crusade'' with the 1212 mod!??!

I have seen 000 explanations on how to actually join the crusade!! Please help me, i love this mod! best thing ever happended to total war for a long time

i think go towards the country that has been chosen by the pope as a crusade target,and youre influence will improve with the pope,start fights in the objected country.and youre crusade will start automatic,butt i only played once.

I think the only time you can "join" is the same turn it happens.

Select an army and a button pop at the bottom left when the Pope calls for it
