It kind of depends on what you want to change about the vanilla game.
Imo, there really is no "must have" mod for Attila, like Darthmod for Empire or something.
The base game plays fine as is, and none of the mods change core things like the AI anyway, contrary to popular myth.
All that mods do is tweak stats and some scripts, and graphics mods change textures and such.
"Forgotten Realms" is a good mod: it unlocks a bunch of factions for more campaign choices.
But if you guys are new, I'd stay away from Radious. First guy is private profile, but second guy only has 17 hours in game.
Radious is by far the most typical recommendation for a "must have" mod, but it actually makes the game way easier than vanilla, and you'll get a really warped idea how the game is "supposed" to play by finishing campaigns with it, whin won't help if you get Thrones of Britannia or something in the near future.
This makes it bearable for those who do not like huge underdeveloped empires. Its literally my worst gripe with Attila that I am given a huge defunct reich.

this helps a whole lot with motivation. Also when playing on very hard you need some kind of help since the AI is cheating so heavily.
Created once again by our team!
If you like massive big Total Wars, unique factions, improved AI, deep and rich rosters with great looking units search no further and have a blast good Sir!
so u do actually change the AI?
I hear a lot of people say CA dont leave room for that to be altered
I did try your overhaul here but it makes the game too easy
