Eastern Roman Empire is too easy and broken
I started an ERE campaign on very hard because I wanted some challenge, but well, I was wrong.

First, I managed to make peace/alliances with all my neighbours.
Then I only had some problems with barbarian tribes on the north but then nothing troubled me and I could focus on building super elite armies and economy. Not a single rebellion happened.
At start my income was 10000, then 15000...
It kept rising until I had to recruit more armies to wipe out Sassanids (because some random minor faction declared war on me and they were allied to Sassanids). I razed all the Sassanid empire leaving some minor factions so no real threat could rise there.
At this point my income was around 30 000 per turn, and it kept rising....
Currently, I am at 770 000 (no typo here, 770 000) income per turn with 12 full armies of end-game units like clibanarii. I have so much money that I am not even able to spend it all.
I think the reason for this broken income are the faction traits of ERE which make the absurd amount of money you earn.

I mean, everyone knows the ERE is easy as ♥♥♥♥, but that really isn't a fault of the ERE. The lack of actual garrisons and the Ai's unwillingness to build units is kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it.

You really don't have to exploit the interest faction trait.

Stop doing that and you'll likely have a lot more fun with the ERE.

This is about fun isn't it?
