Steam price to high ?
Hello can someone explain to me why anyone would pay 40€ for the Base Game Atilla here on Steam when you can buy the Tyrants and Kings Editon with 2 Dlcs (Charlemagne and Vikings) for just 14€ from amazon ?

Shameless price grabbing from Steam. Skyrim is still like 60 bucks I think too. Shame shame

I just ordered it from Amazon because it was much cheaper i always wanted to buy Total War Atilla i heard it was better then Rome 2 and i liked Rome 2. But 40€ always seed a little high to me i mean with these 2 basic dlcs you would have to spend 70€...
I even waited for the Halloween steam sale but they only sold horror games and Atilla wasn't cheaper so i just thought why not look on amazon and they got a good deal much cheaper then steam.

Wait for the Christmas sale. That's always a good time to buy.

I think he was implying to wait until that time as that would be the next sale. I'm pretty sure this was on sale during Halloween, it was also on sale during the summer, and during the 'Make War, Not Love' sale in February.

It wasn't on sale at halloween i checked. But i get it still strange that steam doesn't adjust their prices to the competition. This is just basic capitalism.

Can you not purchase this from Amazon, and use the Key to register it on STEAM? Or is that a physical copy you would have to wait for in the post?

Attila has pretty good campaign, rome 2 has better multiplayer in my opinion

I just saw that my local harware store had it in stock for 9.99€ i will pick it up tomorrow or so...

I really don't care about mulitplayer anyway so it's nice to see that Atilla has a good singleplayer campaign. I have never played multiplayer in rome 2.
