ERE Gift Regions?

I'm playing as Eastern Rome, and there is no option to gift a region to hordes in my provinces.

Is this a bug?

Unfortunately as far as I'm aware the ability to gift regions doesn't exist in Total War: Attila.

No, you're supposed to be able to gift regions to hordes in your territory.

you can but i think certain hordes you cant

and its not always i think it needs to be un developed land, like desolate land u just conquered

I've done it with WRE and understand how it works, but in the same situation the option to gift region doesn't pop up when I try to make a deal with visigoths, or alans. I'll try make peace first and see if it works, but if thats even possible with the visigoths at the start of ERE campaign

Just checked you have to get a peace treaty first
